As a father of three teenage children, Brad is committed to seeing our children receive a superior education.  That’s why he wants to see schools rewarded when their students excel.  As your State Senator, he’ll push for teacher competency testing, a renewed emphasis on teaching the basics and higher pay for those teachers that excel in the classroom.

As the owner and operator of Zaun’s Trustworthy Hardware for the past 16 years, Brad understands the trials of running a small business.  He’s committed to cutting burdensome regulations and lowering taxes to create a business friendly environment where new jobs can be created.  

Ensuring Access to Quality, Affordable Healthcare

Brad knows that the high cost of health care if hurting many Iowa families.  That’s why he supports finding mechanisms to reduce prescription drug costs.  And to help keep doctors in Iowa, he knows we must curb the high cost of medical malpractice insurance by capping awards for non-economic damages in lawsuits.
